About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our e-Governance vertical. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in selling IT solutions, digital transformation services, or consulting engagements to central/state government departments, PSUs, and allied agencies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities in the e-Governance sector.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior officials across government bodies and PSUs.
- Manage the end-to-end sales cycle including lead generation, proposal creation, pricing strategy, contract negotiations, and closure.
- Proactively track tenders, RFPs, EOIs, and empowerment opportunities on government procurement platforms such as GeM, CPP, and eProc.
- Collaborate with technical and pre-sales teams to deliver tailored, high-impact solutions that address client requirements.
- Oversee project implementation and ensure ongoing client satisfaction, fostering long-term relationships.
- Represent the company at industry forums, conferences, and official government meetings.
- Consistently achieve or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA is a strong advantage.
- 6–10 years of experience in IT/solutions sales, with at least 3 years in government/e-Governance.
- In-depth knowledge of government procurement processes, bidding norms, and compliance frameworks.
- Excellent skills in communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management.
- Strong ability to work independently and travel extensively within the assigned territory.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience working with organizations like NIC, NeGD, state e-Governance missions, Smart City initiatives, or under the Digital India umbrella.
- Understanding of government digital platforms and ICT ecosystems such as cloud infrastructure, data centers, GIS, surveillance, and cybersecurity.
- An established network of contacts within key government departments and agencies.
